Friendly place with pretty good soul food. All fried and cooked to the right temperature. My only problem is the salt. Everything is loaded with salt. Thier food is plenty good enough without it. Didn't try the deserts. They sold out. Fried catfish was really good but too much salt. Had leg cramps all night.

I should have known what we were walking into when I saw patrons eating out of to go boxes. The fish was undercooked. The tiny side of potato salad was bland much like the rest of the food. The calamari was rubbery and from frozen. Even the tartar sauce was bland. I think all they added to the yams were maple syrup and brown sugar because these were definitely canned yams from the market. Not even fresh or homemade. The mac n cheese was seemingly from the day or two prior. Cheese was coagulated and could barely cut through it. Mac n cheese is not suppose to be that way. Since we barely ate anything she told us not to worry about the bill, but I was going to write a review regardless. Good or bad. I always give my honest opinion. While she was nice, the food was not so much. For a soul food kitchen.....where's the soul?

First, the Customer Service was 6 ⭐ as we entered in with smiles. The service never stop, just like a revolving door 🚪. The food, the food, THE FOOD was top notched delicious 😋, no complaints were made nor given. The visitors soul and stomach was filled with joy without a doubt. The atmosphere was was lovely as dine in to fellowship with friends, family, and love ones.

Skeebo’s was a great. The food was on point. We ate there before we headed on a cruise the next day. We had grilled chicken and ribs Mac n cheese, collards, cabbage, fried okra, rice n gravy, cone bread not cornbread, and tea. That was a good hometown meal. I said I might ride 6 hours just to go back to eat🥰. So if you every in town go check out Skeebo’s you won’t be disappointed 🥰🥰

I had the pleasure of enjoying Skeebos at a Black History Month catered event - and, boy, was it delicious! The tender chicken over rice was worth every bite, and it may be the best corn bread I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
